This lithographic poster is another example of Roger Bezombes' creative genius. When approached by another famous French institution, "Musee de La Monnaie", the artist created this wonderful lithographic poster which includes many great detail such as embossed old coins and vibrant primary colors.

La Monnaie de Paris, which was founded in Paris in 864 AD, is France's longest standing institution. It is now in charge of striking the euro coins in circulation for France, as well as coins for other foreign currencies. For over twelve centuries, it has developed a international reputation for metalworking. It was one of France's first industrial establishment and it is still in operation today. Many artistic pieces are still produced at its historic Quai de Conti factory.
