Georges Rohner was a French realist painter and printmaker. He was born in Paris in 1913, and studied at the Beaux-Arts under Lucien Simon. Rohner was recognized internationally and his artwork often brought him to the door of surrealism... He worked at the Mourlot studio where he was truly appreciated as one of the great artists of the 20th Century. Rohner was an incredibly talented, kind but also serious man. His intellect was superb and Mourlot Editions recommends his work highly.
