Collection: Francoise Houssin
(1948-Present) French
Houssin is a French artist who studied at the School of Fine Arts in Paris where she spent time drawing Greek and Roman statues and studying the history of art, architecture, and anatomy. She learned to paint in the studio of Gustave Singier and followed the salons at the Grand Palais, group exhibitions, and galleries throughout Paris. Houssin’s work exposes the realism in figurative painting, giving way to feeling and a reality without materiality, space without limitation. Her work affords the viewer an emotional journey, each time renewed.
