This original Roger Bezombes poster is a colorful, fun and technically superb lithograph. The artist was awarded a new contract by the SNCF (French Railroad) in 1968 with the theme, of the Côte d'Azur. The artist veered off the traditional landscapes of railroad ads of the time and chose a bright redfish in blue waters. 

This poster is filled with decorative motives reminiscent of a quilt. Bezombes, together with Mourlot, achieved a brilliant lithograph with five bright colors. There were also different versions with text in various languages, including "Discover France by train" and of course "Côte d'Azur".
