Robert Salmieri an artist living and working in Brooklyn, NY. He has had several one-person shows, and he also has exhibited in many group shows in the New York area.
Robert is quoted saying: "I often start a piece with something in mind. As the painting evolves my thinking evolves along with it and eventually the painting takes on its own reality that is parallel to the physical world. Ultimately, I am internalizing the visual and material world and arriving at more ambiguous, poetic and metaphorical reality."
